I bought the 16lb vest and suspect the model is wearing a much lighter one as it looks very small and trim in the photo. I bought the blue and really regret it. It's more of an aqua and I really dislike the color (and blue is my favorite color).The pocket is completely useless unless you have the arms and flexibility of a chimpanzee. It would be nice to have a pocket on the front that actually accessible for keys.It for the most part stays in place once put on and buckled. I have the straps pulled as tight as they can go and use it mostly for walking. I'm not sure I'd want to do much bending in it.Also wanted to add that the models ass hanging out of her shorts was NOT a motivating factor for purchase and I don't know anyone who works out in attire like that.This really stepped up my workouts, hikes and walks. I feel stronger and my endurance has really improved. If you’re training for a big event or just want to step up your game , this is highly recommended. The only things i don’t like is you’re not able to wash it , so it gets gross (i just spray mine with febreeze) and the sand will move so i hang it upside down and re-disburse the sand to even it out , otherwise it starts to feel heavy/saggy in the back.Got this for my walks for a little extra power. My only wish is that the pocket wasn’t on the back. I would have preferred it to be in front for access to phone and keys. But not sure if that’s possible on these vests. Otherwise it does the trickThis product is excellent and exactly as described. The weight distribution is perfect and fits great. I highly recommend this product!Have used for a few weeks and I love it. I use it for walking around the block and around the house for 20-30 minutes at a time. While standing folding laundry or cooking. Adds great resistance when bending or walking up stairs. Definitely don’t overdo and start light. I have the 8lb and it feels like a perfect challenge. Im 44 and have worked out for over 20 years and hike/walk often but any heavier feels like it would be too straining on the back and shoulders after a short time. I’d rather use it more often than dread it because it’s too heavy. I plan on using it while grocery shopping, etc as well as it’s pretty sleek and could hide it under a jacket or cardigan especially in the winter to burn more calories. Really happy with it for the price.Love wearing this when I go for runs on my elliptical and treadmill. Pretty comfortable and doesn’t shift alotI wish could return this vest and get a new one with solid hemstitching - it is my favorite workout tool!So every year I have to participate in a wildland firefighter work capacity test where I have to carry 25 pounds for 2 miles and finish it in 30 minutes or less. I had been using the ones with the plates of bars that go in the little pockets on the front and back of the vest. These, for women are hard to wear and heavy to pick up and put over your head. This vest was easy to put on, the only problem I encountered was a little bounce. With a less than 15 minute mile pace and swinging my arms, it bounced a little, but not too much. Since I'm not well endowed, I was able to tighten the top strap down all the way, the bottom strap I tightened about 3/4 of the way to where it was snug. I have had breast cancer and have pain in the effected breast where the lump was removed, but it didn't bother that area at all. I thought it would be heavy on my shoulders, but it wasn't. I finished the race with 2 minutes to spare and felt pretty good after. I'm 5'9", weigh 155 and am 60 years old. I'm glad I purchased it. I'll be buying one of the lighter vests to wear on my daily walks.
