I use it 2/3 times a week at my own leisureI am not a gym expert or exercise buff, it was more of a start on dumbbells rather than any real barbell use.. So it is OK for me but if you are a serious workout person and want to focus more on heavy lifting this is not for you.. I am teaching my 9year old basics about exercise and for that purpose this is perfect. I love how simple it is to add / remove weights and it has been stable so far (2 days :)).. The only thing I don't like is when we have a set of weights (1.25/1.5 and 2KG's) we should be able to fit all of them in the barbell which I am not able to. I can only add 3 weights and not the fourth one which is a bit irritating especially when we have the weight available and not used. Other than that it is nice starter one.First off...I bought to have a good starter kit for many at-home options to compliment a bench. Unfortunately, the people designing this didn't factor in the standard bench. So, these are, as described...but would be so much better if slightly redesigned. I can use as a press, but the distance is way off...reality is either u pinch your hand(s) and/or have a very wide grip. Also, the small addition of another few attachments (you get exactly the amount of weight locks and only 1 cowbell receiver) would greatly increase usability.I got jacked using this product primarily. In the winter, it is challenging getting to the gym. I use this set. With a little common sense, you can get the best out it. It’s very convenient and it is not a perfect product but it works perfectly for me.works greatPlease do not waste your money on these terrible weights. I bought these as I was getting into weight lifting and I desperately wish that I had just gone to a store and spent more $ for a brand name set. Here's the rundown:- They took about 2 months to get to me (from China), and arrived in a completely mangled box that was ripped open and barely held together. The shipment just kept getting delayed with no end in sight, even though it was initially supposed to take about 5 days.- They are in KG, not pounds - very annoying to add up the plates and convert to LB if you are American.- The weights are inaccurate (I've weighed them myself and they're all off by anywhere from 100-200 grams)- The dumbbell handles are SUPER LONG. This is the biggest problem as it makes normal exercises like chest presses nearly impossible. It doesn't even matter if you have all the weights on or not, the rod is so long that you can't press the weights together like you normally would on a chest press. It makes every exercise needlessly difficult and some are borderline impossible.- The weights aren't uniform, they bulge in certain areas meaning they aren't flush with each other when on the handle. They also appear to be filled with sand or something, and I can hear material moving around. I'm sure they'll start leaking at some point - they're very poorly made.- Taking plates on/off is a total pain because, once again, the handle is ENORMOUS. You'll spend 3 minutes just spinning the stupid fasteners, and you have to do it 4x if you want to change the weight on both dumbbells. This is particularly annoying if you're doing a bunch of different exercises and want to use different weights for each.Please, for the love of god, do not buy these. Go to a store or go buy from a reputable brand online. This is the only Amazon review I've ever written, and it's because they make me absolutely furious. I'm going to live with them for a while longer because I'm frugal, but I will absolutely be buying a new weight set in the future because I'll drive myself insane if I have to keep using these pieces of junk.Product is good. Overall I'd give it a 4.2 out of 5. I love it. But I hate that only 3 plates fit on either side of the bar at once. So in the 'dumbell mode', the max weight you can assemble is only 11kg. In the picture, it shows that 4 plates can be assembled at once. But other than that it's a great product and totally worth the money.
