It’s very simple. They’re round and weigh what they’re supposed to.I was setting up a home gym and found these plates on sale and wanted to spend as little as possible on weights (it was 115$ for a pair of 45 pound plates and free shipping which was a great price).Pros:-they’re round and they’re advertised on the company’s website of being +/- 1% of the weight.-I got them on sale.Cons:- The plates are huge! I can only fit 5 (45lb) plates on each side of my barbell and that would leave absolutely no space at all for a collar.-they come a little scuffed up and with some imperfections(they’re weights who cares)Would I buy again? Probably not due to the size. Even if they were on sale I probably wouldn’t purchase again. If you’re someone who only needs one or two pairs of plates then sure it would be a good buy. If you’re strong like me and need a lot of plates then spend the money on thinner plates that allow more on the bar.The item arrived two days earlier that was great. Excellent quality item, I applaud the sellerCan't say enough about what a great value these Tru Grit plates are. I couldn't find a better deal anywhere else and I'm super happy with the quality. They look really nice too! Purchased a 230lb set initially and will definitely be looking to add on...not terrible but not great. one of the bumpers came a little scratched up/dented and both plates don't roll perfectly, but they’re on par with my valorfitness bumpers that I’ve had for two years. For my outdoor gym its not bad at all especially for the price.They are great for home gym. They do smell (witch is normal) but that goes away eventuallyThe company has the best customer service! There was a hiccup with a delivery issue, and the company made it right, no questions asked. The plates are incredibly well made, and they look great... and as of when I bought them, the BEST value on the internet.These are good bumper plates for the price. Usually cheaper through the Tru Grit website though.
